1996 1995 crank/cam sensor??

This is my 1st post,:help:
Just bought myself a 1996 GC8 import
need to know if its possible to use a 1995 crank/cam sensor (3 wires RED,BLACK,WHITE) on my 1996 GC8 loom (2 wires BLUE/WHITE BLUE/BLACK)
