Hello guys!

A little about myself, I am a early 20s guy who just picked up cars as a hobby past 2-3 years. Always loved cars but never really got into it (understanding different engines, suspension, etc.). My friend got me into doing it myself work.

My first project was a 97 Del Sol Silver (any Honda Enthusiast knows it's a rare model only 5000 97's entered the country and only a small percentage came in that color). I had a lot of hopes for the car and began experimenting took off most of the rust myself with Bondo did 8/10 work great for people who never played with so much Bondo. Sadly when all the fun was going to begin (swapped interior, wing, body lips, engine parts (pistons etc.) I got into a roll over car accident *STUPID TAXIS*

Next project was a 2002 Accord, nothing special actually Automatic but because all my friends were Honda Enthusiast I thought why not have the luxury looking car out of the group for Events such as Honda day etc. (You know the guy with tints, dropped car, nice sound system, leather interior) Well I had that car was looking nice V6 engine that sounded beautiful. 2 months after getting it .... some **** head texter decided to rear end me. Going 30-45mph while I'm completely stopped waiting to take a turn.... Yeah talk about luck

Now I came across a 2000 Impreza RS 2.5, I did research I saw how sort of rare these were to find now a days. I ended up taking it. (will post pictures later on).

The dash read 145k has the Subaru rear rust on the rear quarter panel meets bumper. Was reconstructed, and from the rust on the right front passenger quarter panel on the door edge also I'd have to assume the car was hit there no structure damage. Just enough to total this 2000 puppy. It drives and sounds great (previous owner added a custom exhaust) *Neighbors hate me*

The Bad:

*Rust spots in at least 6 areas none larger then a iphone.
*Front passenger side quarter panel dent
*rear quarter panel dent (might be able to take it out with one of those dent pop up device) seems really simply.
*Driver side window needs to be put back in place
*Interior could use some refreshing (old car smell)
*has an after market H.I.D kit yet for some reason one bulb won't turn on even when i took my H.I.D kit and changed the bulb (wiring probably)
*Rear wing has some paint pealing (will need to be painted)
*Rear struts are dead... I mean DEAD! (bought some struts from advanced auto parts yesterday should be put in this week)

The weird:

Previous owner told me he took it to get inspected, it failed because

Rust hole (easy bondo fix, only one hole)
Wheels are bald (has 4 brand new tires now)
Catalytic Sensor appeared... this is the weird part

we took it to two auto stores both read no codes with the car. I took it to another after registering it and he said the computer is not reading any check engine light (light is NOT on) the kid told me the people who did the inspection told him the Check Engine light is dead (I think they were just hustling him into getting it fixed through them)

Any ways it may or may not need a Catalytic Converter Will find out after patching the Rust and taking it for an inspection. (I'm going to take out the cluster and see if the bulbs are dead or in place this weekend)
