I have a 99 2.5rs (Boosted), I wired in my AEM F/IC and now the Check engine Light popped on with code P0335 "Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction". I checked my wires and everything checked out from my stand point, I connect the bypass wires the kit came with and the car starts up fine. I called AEM and the tech stated I wired everything correctly if the bypassed worked. He also stated that there is a possibility that the crank signal is out of range for the F/IC and I need to wiring in a resisted ranging from 1 to 5 ohms...smh. I started with a 2.2 ohms still the same no start and the same code. I picked up a couple different ohms but I'm curious to see if anyone experience this problem and rectified it.
