So back in February, we swapped my car from a auto to a manual. Everything went well, car is driving perfectly fine. ABS works as it should as does everything else.
Only one small issue. I cannot get rid of my P0600 CEL. It is a serial communication link failure, due to the ECU not being able to find the TCU.
Now, this being a 2005, there is no difference in the auto/manual ECU, nor is there a pin to ground to tell it that it is now a manual. It has a unique learning function that has already adjusted for the change.
However, even though it knows its a manual, it is still trying to communicate with the TCU. IF i try to plug the TCU in, the car goes nuts and wont even start.
We tried today to remove the code via romraider but no luck, and im completely out of ideas.
Any help/tips/tricks would be awesome as i really miss cruise control.
