Can i make 2006 STI struts fit my 93?

I have been reading through others threads for a few hours now and cannot find a solid answer.

I found a full set of "low milage" 2006 STI strut assemblies for 130$ and was curious if i could use them at all.

The top hats aren't really an issue as I believe I can slot them or swap them for early 90s legacy ones. Its where the strut bolts to the hub that i cant find any info on. is the point where the strut bolts to the hub the same on the STI as my 5x100 hubs?

Are these specific struts completely useless to me???
