Hello Everyone!
Thought I would make a member's journal I picked up my Gc8 This past March of 2014. Always wanted a Gc8 coupe but they were always really expensive(still are kinda :lol:...Lol) and really hard to find for sale in Southern California for a good price at least. So I originally had my mind set on a Hawkeye WRX until I came upon this 2000 2.5RS coupe with 100k miles, 1 owner, really bad paint, all 100k maintenance w/ receipts.....and Automatic... asking price was a bit too good to be true..went to look at mechanically it was in great condition. Body was dinged up looked like it went thru a sandstorm :disappear and paint was fading everywhere but it was solid. Bargained with the seller and took it home for 2.5k which is not bad if you asked me and had a lot of money left over in my savings for mods.:naughty:
The automatic transmission did not bother me because it will eventually be swapped by the end of the year:orly:
So stay tuned I plan to move somewhat quick. :sunny:\
