It is time for me to sell my RS. I bought a house and need an SUV/ Truck to do things around the house with it. I have my sights set on a 2010 Xterra Off Road 6 speed at a local dealer. They actually gave me a pretty good offer for a trade in on my car but I would really hate to see it goto a non enthusiast.

I need to sell this ASAP! Therefore the price is $6000. That is a steal.

1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS

VIN: JF1GM6755WG400231

5 Speed which is quite rare in 98.

Little less than 165,000 miles currently.

Exterior:

Zero Rust. Not in the fender wells. Not underneith. No where. Car has never been painted.

Black paint is in pretty good shape. Could use a really good buff job but I've never used a buffer so I won't touch a black car with one. Has a small scrape on the front bumper from someone love taping me parallel parking and a small ding on the passenger fender that paint less dent repair could probably remove no problem. There is also small dings here and there from being a 16 year old car.

Has sunroof deflector.

Stock goldies in really really good shape.

Brand new Kuhmo tires. Less than 5000 miles on them.

Interior:

In really good shape. Drivers seat has some minor wear and a small hole from a pencil that was hanging out of my pocket. Passenger seat has one cigarette burn on the side between it and the center console that you can't even see.

Has 2.5RS floor mats that are in decent shape.

Older Alpine CD player.

I installed Factory Cruise control and it works great. The kit was NOS so all parts were unused before the install.

I installed Intermittent wipers from a later model subaru. They also work great.

Engine:

The following were replaced at 123,000 miles: headgaskets, timing belt, tensioner, waterpump, idlers, clutch, rear main, oil pump seal, cam seals, all necessary gaskets. Flywheel was resurfaced.

Delta 1500 grind cams were installed at 123,000 miles also.

Borla replica headers

Stromung High Flow cat

CNT Racing (Tsudo) stainless steel catback with blue burnt tiped muffler.

Stainless Braided clutch fluid line.

A long list of replaced sensors and such over the last 4-5 years.

Suspension:

KYB GR2

Tanabe GF210 Springs

Kartboy Endlinks front and rear

Brakes:

Stock and in good shape.

Extra/Spare parts:

I have another entire set of good heads and stock cams.

I have the complete stock exhaust system including header, cats and catback. Just in case the current setup is to loud for you.

I also have a few randoms sensors belts spark plugs and interior bits in some boxes in the garage along with a stack of reciepts in no particular order or organization.

I love this car but unfortunately I cannot use it to haul wood and dirt and mulch for the new house that I just bought so it has to go. It has been a great car for me and is absolutely amazing in the snow as you all know. I really hate to see it go but the time has come.

I need to sell this ASAP!
The price I have listed is very reasonable for a rare rust free car. I have already found a car that I want.

Best way to contact me is to email me at timbwhite(at)gmail.com if you are serious we can trade phone numbers from there.

I just walked outside of my work and took the following pictures. The car is a little bit dirty but nothing major. Also the interior is a bit hairy as my dog likes to go for rides. All of this can be cleaner relatively easily.
