HF cat or resonator or both?

Ok so... I realize hundreds of exhaust threads exist, but I couldn't quite find what I want.

'98 OBS with 2.2 single port UEL.(will be 2.2/2.5 frankenstein soon, but the same header applies)
I want the exhaust to be as loud as possible while limiting rasp. I like the sound of the stromung catback (non resonated 2.25"), I could either go catless and add a nice long resonator or have a high flow cat pipe and no resonator...or both.

Loudest I can be while not too raspy...

Any ideas/suggestions/experience?
