Catback: OEM 02-07 WRX, Perrin, ???

I have an '01 RS with the following modifications related to intake/exhaust:

Tsudo UEL Headers
Tsudo Catless track pipe
Flipped airbox intake (direct from hood scoop)
Delicious Stage 2 ECU flash

I still have the stock cat-back and it is pretty quiet right now. Every now and then I can hear a hint of the sweet rumble at the right RPMs. My question is two fold; I'd like a little more of the deep boxer rumble and am curious if the 3" of an aftermarket exhaust will be noticeable over the RS/WRX cat-back diameter. I have noticeable performance improvements for each of the changes above, but am wondering if 3" all the way would make any difference.

I can probably get an OEM WRX cat-back locally and rotate the flange, but I'm not sure if it will provide the little deeper sound I am looking for; pretty sure I won't notice any performance difference vs. the stock RS cat-back.

I might be willing to pay for a used Perrin and rotate the flange; I really like the sound (at least in the videos I've watched), but am not sure if it would be too loud. Something like a Perrin would give me 3" from the collection point on the header to the back, but not sure if it will make a difference or not in the butt dyno.

I've been through the entire video thread for various exhaust combinations and youtube, but haven't really found good samples for what I am looking at doing.

I want to keep it looking like stock (or close to it), so that's why I'm looking at WRX or Perrin and not Tsudo or others with the larger can/angled at the bumper.

Any input/opinions would be welcomed, thanks.
