I changed the oil about 40 miles ago, it still has the correct oil level now. When I changed the oil, I also took the time to clean and re-oil my K&N filter, which I have had on the car for around 60k miles with absolutely NO issues until now.
The other day I was sitting in traffic just a couple miles from my house, and went to merge onto the freeway. Right as I went to accelerate, the car died. It struggled for a little bit but then would completely die. I tried starting it without the throttle and with WOT, no difference. The car has fuel in the tank and the battery is charged. At this point I gave up and had the car towed home.
My first assumption was that the MAF went bad. Replaced that, no luck. I tried running it with and without the air filter, with and without the MAF plugged in, no difference. If I reset the ECU, it will sputter and idle for a second then die again. Next I thoroughly cleaned out the IACV (which was filled with a ton of black buildup) still nothing.

When I pulled out the IACV and cleaned it, it won't spin or anything, it just has a little rotational play in the shaft but pretty much stays put. Is that what it is supposed to do?
I've checked the engine over and over again for vacuum leaks to no avail. I pulled off the fuel feed line and primed the system, the engine is getting fuel just fine so it isn't the pump (which I replaced 20k ago anyway).
I'm almost at a complete loss. The symptoms to me say lack of fuel but I don't know why it isn't getting fuel. Does anyone have a suggestion or advice that might help?
