I'm doing a rear drum to disc swap with 05' rear hubs, e-brake cables, and other hardware and hit a snag.
The e-brake cable is too short, causing the equalizer to be in tension way too much. In addition, It seems that the passenger side cable is about 1 inch shorter than the driver's side, causing the equalizer to tilt one way.
I've tried playing around with the drum adjusters on the rear hubs but have not had any luck.
After doing a lot of searching and reading, it seems that some people were able to use 02+ WRX AND STi cables with no issues, and others just opted to go with 2.5rs cables.
I've ordered some OEM 2.5RS cables from Subaru, but wondering if there is anything that can be done in the meantime.
