So lately I've been noticing that my clutch pedal is slowly getting softer and softer, and this morning when I started my car to go to work, (I was parked on the street at the time) it started to stick to the floor and I needed to use my foot to pull it back out. It does this when the car is cold and once its warms up after a couple mins of driving it stops sticking.
Investigating, I noticed that my clutch fluid reservoir is well below the min level... And I also noticed that the clutch pedal becomes nice and firm, like normal, when I'm parked on a somewhat aggressive slant such as my driveway.
Do I need to bleed my clutch fluid to refill it, or can I just refill it to the max line and see if that aides my pedal? Or should I just replace my clutch slave cylinder and see if that does the trick?
ps. noob question, clutch fluid is DOT 3 correct?
