---- Intro ----
I figured that I would start a journal to let people follow along with us as we build up a rally car to compete in NASA Rally Sport events here along the east cost.
Along with showing off what we are up too, I hope that this may inspire some other members one here who have always wanted to get involved with Rally or RallyX to get out there
and give it a shot. We are definitely a "grassroots" rally team run to have as much fun as possible for as little money as possible, and our involvement definitely proves that Rally is
not too expensive for the "average" folk. If you do come out to a rally,either to spectate or get involved, feel free to always stop by and say hi.
---- A Little History -----
We've spent the last two seasons gaining experience, and having fun, campaigning a 2001 Mazda Protege MP3. It has been a good little car, but has definitely lived a hard life.
It was always the plan to move onto something awd once we were more comfortable, and we felt that there was no better time than now. The car has now been sold, and
has moved onto the midwest. So, there is definitely no going back now.

--- The new car ---
A few weeks ago we picked up 1999 2.5RS from a fellow rs25 member. For the price we picked it up for, it was a great deal. Needs some new bushings here and there,
and there is a clunk in coming from either the steering column or steering rack, but overall its in great shape. So here is the car as it sat the day we picked it up (and how it still sits).
Just a standard pretty much stock 2.5rs...but not for too much longer :-)
