Has anyone seen Yuriy Antonenko's kits on a car? WRC KIT QUESTIONS

$

0
Hey guys, I am looking around for a WRC widebody kit. NOT a 22b kit. Even more specifically, the later s6 version of higher arches and more width.

I am going to be purchasing a set in order to make steel replicas from, and I am interested in knowing if anyone has any experience with Yuriy's kits. I've seen that he is friends with a lot of people in our communityou on facebook, but I am hesitant to send +$2000 to someone in Russia. Also, other than HIS pictures, there seems to be a total lack ofor any other cars they are pictured on.

If not Yuriy, is anyone else making these kits for under $3,000usdo?

I also fear, from the only thread I could find on this website - that his rear QP's are not large enough. While they are a different color than the body he is mocking them on, it would seemingly only add 1.5" on either side. I can of course adjust this since I am transferring the mold to steel, but I would prefer not to need to.

Thanks in advance! I'm sure I will end up pulling the trigger in the next couple days with Yuriy if I do not find much else otherwise!

Help with front swaybar/endlinks

$

Hey everyone,

I am having some trouble with my front swaybar/endlinks. I have a 99 RS with a gc/legacy turbo crossmember and rs control arms. I've been hearing a clunking from under the car when turning and I noticed that my endlinks on the font sway bar were very bad, so I went ahead and replaced them, however, they still look like they are the wrong angle to me...I am trying to figure out if the swaybar is perhaps the wrong size? I'm not sure where it came from, it was on the car when I bought it along with the turbo crossmember. Here are two pictures of how it looks when loaded, as you can see the angle is bad looking. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for taking the time to look/read.

Hi, up for sale is a set of stock rims and WINTER tires (205 55 16 Firestone Winterforce) off a 2002 Impreza 2.5 RS. I'm in Norwalk, CT. Come get them $200 (might even take less if you have interesting things to trade ... mud flaps? A new radio with bluetooth?). Caveats: 1) They are plasti-dipped by me - i.e. DIY job - to cover up the dings, imperfections, etc. Gladly throw in extra cans of plasti-dip into the deal. 2) Two of the tires leak air. Those are the ones with the orange stickers in the pictures. As you can see though, they do hold air, but I just know they don't hold as much as the other two tires. Other than that, plenty of tread left on these tires.

FS (USA,MD): 98 BDP RS w/07 WRX FULL swap only 10k orig on engine! Tons of extras!

$

My interests and life have taken different turns these past few years. Sadly, with some regret, it's finally time to let the beast go. This a 1998 Subaru RS with a full swap from an 07 WRX Wagon. It is a complete swap meaning the complete drivetrain: engine, trans, steering racks, rear diff, braking system, etc; dash and center console. The swap was done back in 2008/09. The donor car had only 5200 miles on it and the odometer is currently sitting at 10k and change. (See pic) I drive the car about twice a year and change the oil each time. Since the swap, the engine has only ever been fed Motul oil.

I've also got a literal boat load of extra parts left over from the swap. Highlights below in the parts list and also: Two complete RS dashes. Ya, two...I bought another one for an earlier project. An '02 bugeye rear bumper that I bought as a replacement and never installed before I traded the car. TEIN HA coilovers for the RS, disassembled, need rebuilt. Nardi steering wheel. Two 10" subs and box. Rear decklid and tail lights from the '07.

I'll try and list all the parts and may edit this post as I remember things.

The car was pro-tuned by Hill at Agile Auto several years ago and dyno'd there at 317HP/315TQ at the wheels.

The bad:
-The car was being prepped as a track car so there are no airbags and no A/C...but the heat works!
-It's a '98, lots of scratches and dings...but NO rust!
-The previous owner painted the goldies silver...sacrilidge!
-The brakelight in the wing doesnt work.
-Pretty sure the rotors are warped.
-Steering wheel controls dont work. (including the horn)

Engine:
-Accessport V2
-VF34 Turbo
-K&N air intake
-Gimmick turbo inlet hose
-SuperTech Valves
-no-name FMIC
-no-name TBE
-light weight battery
-JDM In-Fender coolant resevoir

Drivetrain:
-Kartboy shifter bushings, both.
-Group-N motor mounts (I think)
-ACT lightweight Flywheel (Not Installed)

Suspension:
-KYB AGX adjustable's
-Tanabe GF210 springs
-Kartboy front endlinks
-Kartboy front swaybar
-JDM front tower brace
-Front fender braces (The guy who makes and sells them on here...can't remember his name.)
-Perrin rear endlinks
-Custco adjustable rear swaybar
-no-name rear tower brace.
-Group-N rear tophats
-Complete set of wheels and tires 235x45xR17 (see pics, Not Installed): car is currently aligned with these, but needs a fender roll to wear them.
-Custco underbrace (Not Installed)

Interior:
-Sparco seats (Not Installed)
-Kartboy short-shifter.
-no-name brushed aluminum shift knob.
-PLX guage that reads ODBII data. Also has boost and Wideband AFR sensors.
-Pioneer head unit.
-Some 6x9's the previous owner had.

Exterior:
-Authentic JDM aluminum hood (White, Not Installed)
-Hella SuperTones (German; they work, but the horn press on the wheel doesnt.)
-Ebay projector headlights, the Angel-eye ones. I didn't hook up the angel-eyes, cuz ew.
-Wing! 22b maybe? I can't remember the style...

Looking to get $14k for everything, but I am negotiable. Reasonable offers will be considered, lowballs will be ridiculed.

Sold As-Is. No Warranties. Serious inquiries only please. No joyrides. Not interested in trades...except maybe a 4 wheeler + cash.

Contact through PM is preferred.

Thanks!

Frankenstein's show car.

Sorry if I make a mess of this, I've never posted more than classified ads on here before.

for the past several months I've been looking for an RSTI coupe. Most of what I found was either on the opposite coast or out of my price range. I really didn't want a wrx swap so I figured I'd just build my own RSTI, Because I'm delusional about my mechanical skill. I was surfing Craigslist looking for swap candidate when I found an ad for a ''Custom Subaru 2000 2.5rs". It had a pretty decent list of mods, and had a tempting price. Naturally I did the most logical thing and offered 1000 less than priced. amazingly he accepted and I set up a time to meet and check it out. I was a little torn about the car, on one hand it's a good deal, on the other it's not a coupe and it needed head gaskets. I drove about 2 hours up to see it and as soon as I saw the rear wing I was sold. The crazy long list of mods was just Icing on the cake.

it started life as a 2000 2.5rs and was soon transformed into a show car to advertise for an auto shop. That was probably about 13 years ago. the exterior has seen better days but it has pretty decent guts.

I have for sale a nice clean 2006 wrx limited in silver with heated leather interior and moon roof. It's an automatic transmission. 2.5 liter turbo. Has heated everything, seats, windshield, mirrors. Very nice interior. Car has 160,000 miles on it and runs like a top. This model also gets the nicer 4 piston front brake calipers and 2 piston rear brake calipers. Shifts great. Brakes and suspension are tight. Has drilled brake rotors. The limited also gets fancier trim around the grill pieces. It's got decent snow tires on it with 17" factory wheels. Brand new radiator. Upgraded intercooler from the plastic end tanked one to an all aluminum one. Feel free too ask any questions. I am a certified mechanic. I have this priced a little below nada value. The price is or best offer. This is a really nice optioned wrx that you don't see very often. Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Car is located in Marquette, MI. Asking $10,500 or best offer.

Viper's 01 Impreza 2.5RS "Rusty"

My first car was a 00 STM Impreza L back in 06 that I dropped a ej257 in and enjoyed. Well had to sell the car to pay for life mistakes. The past couple of years I have been wanting to get back into the Subaru scene but being in New England, everything is high priced for rust buckets. My ideal car was something road ready and no rust repair, but I think I got a good deal on this so I jumped on it.

I picked up this car for $200 from a friend who has owned it for the past 9 or 10 years. I was there when she bought it back then, well I will just say maintenance wasn't exactly kept up, neither was car washes !

Its a 2001 Impreza RS, Auto, 200k miles, nothing fancy. As of right now it needs the metal coolant line that is under the intake manifold, and major rust repair. Also the sunroof doesn't work, I haven't looked into it so not sure whats going on with it yet.

My plans for it are pulling the engine and rebuilding with EJ257 pistons/rods, new bearings, wrx water pump, TD05 turbo, Emanage Ultimate (I need to pass OBD inspection). Eventually would like to do a 5spd swap since my old L was a 5spd.

Anyways, here are some pictures. Ignore the crap welding.... Im not a huge body work type of guy .....

New bearings, EJ257 Pistons/Rods, WRX Water pump, front calipers.

Up for sale is my 2007 STI Limited in Urban Grey Metallic #112, currently she has 90k miles. I purchased this car roughly 3 years ago with 78k on it in stock form.

As a BMW master technician with an affinity for Subaru's I had a vehicle history inquiry run by Subaru and verified it is Florida native and had compression and leak down tests performed prior to purchase. The engine was healthy on all cylinders. Since then it has been very reliable and I have only run Rotella T6 5W40 changed every 2000-2500 miles.
I am selling it because I live within walking distance of my work and I no longer drive it enough to justify owning it. By not enough I mean less than 600 miles in the past year, it just sits in my garage taking up space and id rather see someone enjoying a fun car like than just sitting around. I recently clay bared and waxed the car and it will continue to sit in the garage till sold

DIY washer bag kit install.

$

This seriously took me 10 minutes to do, including taking pictures. I hope you guys will like this. The kit just falls onto the car and should work on any Subaru from 1991-2007, I believe.

UNIVERSAL 12V SINGLE OUTLET KIT + 1.8 LITRE BAG WINDOW WASHER FLUID PUMP | eBay

I bought the above washer bag kit for $15, shipped. The tough looking rubber bag already has a pump attached at the bottom, so there's no need for any complex hose routing. It also comes with a mounting bracket, hardware, wiring, tubing, etc. Mounting was a snap, as shown below.

1. Mount the included bracket on the old washer reservoir screws
2. Hang the bag
3. Cut about 4in from the existing rubber hose
4. Plug included 12v motor into factory green T electrical plug
5. Fill with washer fluid

BTW, I see no reason why this wouldn't work as an intercooler sprayer. I didn't have room on the right side after doing the twin intakes, similar to people with an FMIC. This is a cheap, plug in fix that should work for pretty near anyone. It mounted easily, plugged right in and worked perfectly.
